Bricks in the Semper Fidelis Memorial Park. Brick one states, GySgt B. Halvorson Combat Engineer USMC 2012-2021. Brick two states, GySgt B. Halvorson Loving Husband USMC 2012-2021

The Gunny Hal Foundation purchased a brick for GySgt Blaine Halvorson that lays in the Marine Corps Heritage Center Semper Fidelis Memorial Park.

The Marine Corps Heritage Center stands as a lasting tribute to those who have sacrificed for our nation. Their mission is to preserve and share the history, traditions and culture of the Marine Corps and educates all Americans in its virtues.

Since opening The National Museum of the Marine Corps to the public on November 10, 2006, the Museum has quickly become a place for Marines to convene, share their experiences, celebrate their victories and honor their fallen. The Museum has welcomed over 6.9 million visitors. Currently, the Museum includes over 1,000 artifacts including tanks, aircraft, small arms, uniforms and over 1,800 photographs, letters and illustrations.

Semper Fidelis Memorial Park overlooks the National Museum of the Marine Corps. Dedicated to the service of all Marines, it is a place of remembrance and reflection. There are 30,000 commemorative bricks that line portions of the paths throughout Semper Fidelis Memorial Park. There you will find two in honor of GySgt Blaine Halvorson, a loving husband and a USMC Combat Engineer 2012 – 2021.
